Our experience with this venue was amazing. They were accommodating, patient, kind, and flexible. Planning and executing a destination wedding for a large group of people is not easy. However, with the support of the off-site and on-site wedding planners, the planning process was smooth. We ended up changing a lot of details when we arrived, just four days before the big day. I couldn’t even believe they were so kind and accommodating to make so many changes on such short notice, but they did, with a smile on their face too. More details on the big day; I had my makeup and hair done in my room on the big day from an outside vendor, chasity artistry. It was a great experience for myself and my guest who chose to have hair and makeup done. Our ceremony took place at ocean point. Cocktail hour was in the main lobby. And the reception was at the sky terrace. All perfect locations, in my opinion! It was important to us to have the ceremony and reception private! And these places made us feel like ourselves and our guest were the only ones around, which we were! The resort was perfect. It was big enough to make you feel like you could get away from guest and enjoy your own vacation and small enough to easily connect with guest in minutes. We had 35 guest attend. The entertainment, food, cocktails.. just everything was incredible. We opted for a “Jamaican experience” theme, which entailed Jamaican inspired cuisine and rum tasting offerings during the reception. As well as a steel drum band during the cocktail hour to keep guest entertained while we got photos taken. I highly recommend this venue for your destination wedding.
